Welcome to St. Ignatius Catholic Church

St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Chapel Point,  was founded in 1662 by Jesuit missionaries.  Our parish is still sponsored and staffed by the Jesuits, and they with our lay colleagues, have served God's people without interruption since then.   Today, more than 360 years after our founding, we remain a vibrant Catholic community, committed to preaching and practicing the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the spirituality of the Jesuits and the traditions and beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church.
