St. Ignatius Church Chapel Point takes seriously the Gospel truth that one cannot love God unless one also loves one’s brothers and sisters (1 John 4:20). Parishioners do this ordinarily in their individual and family lives while at home and in the workplace.
But St.Ignatius parishioners also serve their needy brothers and sisters as a parish community through a variety of service programs. These programs include:
• Wayside Food Bank
• Catherine Foundation (crisis pregnancy center)
• Cross Catholic/Knights of Columbus Christmas Outreach
• Annual Christmas coat drive
• Visits to the homebound and hospitalized
• Arimathea Ministry (hospitality and guidance during funeral services)
• Christmas Giving Tree
