Children’s Liturgy of the Word After the Opening Prayer at the 9:30am Sunday Mass during the school year, we send the young children and interested parents off to a separate space to hear Bible stories, to sing, and to engage in other age-appropriate activities that teach them the love of God for each of them. The children return to the church after the homily.
Religious Education for School-Aged Children Almost every Sunday during the school year, elementary and middle school-aged children who do not attend Catholic school gather for religious instruction after the 9:30am Mass. The goal of the program is to complement the work of parents in teaching their children about the Catholic Church’s experience of God who is Love.
Vacation Bible School For a week each summer, parish staff, assisted by several of our high school youth, lead our elementary and middle school-aged children in a variety of activities that are not only formative, but also lots of fun.
Youth Ministry Our high school-aged youth have several opportunities during the year to participate in community service, prayer, social, and educational activities.
